WIRES

Husqvarna offers a complete range of diamond wires, engineered for use with a variety of materials and numerous applications. With more than 40 years of industry experience, we have accumulated extensive knowledge of diamond bead design and wire assembly throughout the years. Husqvarna diamond wires use injected synthetic rubber and springs for the assembly. A synthetic rubber wire is very flexible, making it easy to use, as well as minimising the risk of uneven wear to the wire beads. Husqvarna’s new generation of wires has at least 40 beads per metre. More beads per metre means increased contact between the cutting diamonds and the wire, resulting in higher speed and increased product life. Also, the distance between the beads is smaller, making for a more even cut.
Diamond wire
Husqvarna’s new generation of wires has 44 beads per metre. More beads per metre means increased contact between the cutting diamonds and the wire, which brings higher speed and increased product life. Also, the distance between beads is smaller, resulting in a more even cut.
Vacuum-brazed wires
Vacuum-brazed wires cut faster and last longer than standard electroplated/sintered wires. They are ideal for both dry and wet cutting.

Sintered wires
The active part of the beads is a ring of sintered diamonds whose composition is like the segments used in blades. It is a long-life wire.

Electroplated wires
The beads are made from an annular steel support onto which the diamond grains are electrolytically deposited. These grains are remarkably robust and sharp.
